Chip Sims has been in the construction industry for over 26 years in a variety of capacities, from a crane operator and truck driver at a local pipe supplier to a crew leader and machine operator at a residential grading contractor.
Beginning at CT Purcell Inc. in 2004, Chip’s knowledge and passion for high-quality site work have been vital to the company’s success. He was promoted to Estimator in 2017 and has held that role since.
Chip is a Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy Certified Mine Surface Foreman, a Certified General Mineral Miner, a Responsible Land Disturber Holder, and is First Aid/CPR certified.
